I completed my B. Tech (Electronics and Communications) from the Regional Engineering College in Kurukshetra, Haryana in 1998. Recently, I have also achieved a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification also conducted by PMI institute. Collectively, I have seventeen years of work experience in M/s Bharat Electronics Ltd. which is a market leader in defence electronics with world class technology. I currently hold the post of Deputy General Manager (QM/Testing).

My motivation behind completing CPPP is to gain expertise and professional excellence to advance my skills through constant learning. CPPP is the first ever course that I have completed in the Procurement/ Materials Management side.

Procurement is one of the most important activities in any organization and lots of funds are spent towards procuring goods / works / services through various types of tenders across the world. Therefore, doing the CPPP course has been really beneficial for me.

Procurement has become a strategic part of Project Management and hence it is the need of the hour to fully equip Procurement professionals in evolving technologies and techniques in the field. I’d highly recommend that all individuals involved in procurement activities should do these courses to learn about Public Procurement in detail, along with its related policies and the necessity of unified public procurement law in India.
