I completed my Bachelor’s in Industrial Production Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore (2001-2004) and started my career in 2007 with BEML Ltd. I have 8 years of work experience till date and am currently working as Assistant Manager in the vigilance Department of the organisation.

I have 5 years of Procurement specific experience and consider myself fortunate to have gained the knowledge of preparing tender documents, negotiation with vendors, Contract preparation and management.

I have immense support from my family, friends and colleagues which has motivated me in all my endeavours.

My Objective behind completing CPPP has been to enhance my knowledge in Public Procurement and to understand the rationale behind public procurement decisions. Public procurement is vulnerable to corruption and any small improvements in the efficiency of public procurement can have a direct and positive effect on the financial position of the organisation.

The World Bank, in association with Vigilance Study Circle, Bengaluru Chapter has indeed taken a very good initiative by introducing this programme to a varied group of individuals.

CPPP is an effective e-learning tool that is complemented with practical assignments, interactive sessions that are very well designed, focused, and made easy for the participants to understand, learn and implement the learning.
