I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Rajasthan University and a PGDBA/MBA in Operations along with Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Corporate Law (PGDBCL) from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL).

I have been involved in planning, coordinating, managing, and supervision of various districts, state, and national level projects with both Corporate and Government organizations of Health, Education and Postal departments. I started my career as a Consultant Operations in the e-Governance division of Calance Software Pvt. Ltd., and have worked on various e-governance projects for the Government of India at grassroots level posts. Subsequently, I joined the Indian Nursing Council (INC) as a Manager and got the opportunity to work on procurement and tendering/ bidding process. Later, at Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL), I worked as a Consultant- Procurement and Disbursement, and provided consultancy to States for developing their yearly Procurement Plans. I proceeded to work with the National Institute for Smart Government as Project Manager and am currently working as a Senior Consultant (e-Governance) in Wipro.

During my tenure of seven or more years, I have strongly felt that the process of procurement is not only limited to administration skills. It also needs knowledge of advanced management and analytical skills, knowledge of market/economy, technology, methodologies, laws, and regulations. These are the needs that motivated me to complete the CPPP course.

I believe that during the planning stages of procurement in the public sector, one should always consider the social, economic, and environmental aspects which are associated with the specific acquisitions made to achieve goals/ transformation of the organization. Strategic planning, effective and efficient execution, adjacent monitoring and evaluation are the key success factors for effective procurement practices. Collectively, they also keep away the immoral/corrupt practices from acquisition.
