Adeel Zeerak main

Procurement Learning congratulates Mr Adeel Zeerak from Pakistan on securing a fantastic 92% on CPPP MOOC program! Read about his professional journey and motivation to complete the course.

I did B.E. in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. Later I did MBA in 1999 with a bi-major in Marketing and Finance from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Pakistan.

I started my professional career in 1993 and currently have a total work experience of 24 years. Before joining a government organization, I have worked for almost 13 years in the private sector in Pakistan. Currently I am working at Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM) since 2006. PIM is a Government organization with its head office in Karachi and is reporting to the federal ministry of Industries and Production. PIM provides training, education and consulting services to Pakistani government and private sector organizations. I am working here as a Deputy General Manager.

Although I have not worked in procurement department of any organization but I have learnt a lot about procurement while dealing with procurement departments of many professional organizations during my six years of Organizational Marketing career. Other than the CPPP and CPCM I have studied procurement as part of following trainings that I received:

I am a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) in 2012 from APICS, USA. Procurement was a part of this supply chain management training.
I have received Green Productivity training from Asian Productivity Organization (APO) during 2008. We were introduced the concept of Green Purchasing as part of this training.

Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM) organizes various training programs including trainings on Procurement Management and Supply Chain Management. I personally conduct a short training program on the topic of ‘Effective Purchase Management’. Executives from various public sector organizations also come to us for the trainings. I therefore wanted to learn more about public procurement and therefore got interested in CPPP.

CPPP is a very valuable training on the topic of public procurement and I highly recommend it to all professionals working at the public sector.

Procurement Learning congratulates Mr. Murali Krishna on securing a fantastic 100% on CPPP MOOC program! Read about his professional journey and motivation to complete the course.

I have graduated from Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Hyderabad with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I’ve overall 9+ years of professional experience in Contracts, Procurement, Material and Quality Management.  I’m a certified green belt holder in Six Sigma & Design for Six Sigma.

I’m currently working with DATA, Kuwait as Contracts/Procurement Engineer. Previously, I’ve worked as SAP-MM functional consultant and as Sr. Quality Analyst for MNC’s in Hyderabad, India.

Procurement is responsible for both optimizing costs and reporting on any savings achieved, and delivering more tangible benefits to the business. These include negotiating high value contracts, enabling the introduction of innovative new processes and managing major offshoring operations. I took up CPPP to get better understanding of “cradle to grave” procedures involved in public procurement and stay abreast with the new processes and principles that are involved in procurement in order to deliver the best possible results in my work.

Accountability, Transparency and Efficiency. These three key principles should critically be investigated against the accepted standards in public procurement. I’m committed towards these principles as a professional and ensuring the level of compliance with best practices from the standpoint of practicality.

CPPP is one of the finest courses in Public Procurement. A must course for people who want to get the best knowledge with enriched content in procurement. The course covers all the aspects of procurement with examples in an easy to understand methodology.

I would like to congratulate Work Bank & its staff for this incredibly enlightening endeavour.

Procurement Learning congratulates Saravanan Kaliaperumal from India on securing a fantastic 95% on CPPP MOOC program! Read about his professional journey and motivation to complete the course.

My educational qualifications include a B.Tech in Electronics and communication. I have a total work experience of 14 years in Design and Engineering.

My procurement specific experience constitutes a part of my development and production work. The CPPP course was excellent. It was very interactive with lots of examples and exercises.

Though the subject of procurement is very dry for any technical person like me, the course’s preparation and presentation was phenomenal and was easy for me to understand and follow.

After taking this course, I understand the importance of following the correct procedures in procurement.

Being a public-sector employee, many time I became upset due to delay in the procurement of crucial items which was caused by the procedural delays in procurement and I was cursing the system. Now I understand the importance of following the procedures in procurement.
