I was associated with two major National Health Programmes through National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) and Revised National TB Control Programme (RNTCP) under MoHFW, India supported by World Bank, Global Fund (GFATM), and DFID as National Procurement and Supply Chain Management Consultant. Subsequently, I also worked at National Centre for Disease Control (MOHFW, GOI) for Global Disease Detection India as Procurement Specialist. Currently, I am working as Senior Manager (Procurement) with M/s Strategic Alliance Management Services Pvt. I also impart training on World Bank procurement guidelines to state officials under various programmes apart from assisting public procurement officials with their procurement needs.
My objective behind completing CPPP and enrollment in PDPP has been to understand and embrace the need for continuous self improvement through education, and enhancing my opportunities for professional success in public procurement.
I would like to encourage all procurement specialists or officials within the field of procurement to undertake CPPP/PDPP as this programme as it will definitely help in improving their knowledge of procurement, tendering processes, regulatory frameworks, risk management in the public procurement cycle, procurement strategies and contract monitoring.
