I have had a career, extending over fifteen years of diverse experiences in international development agencies, as well as public and private sector organizations including World Bank, DFID, IDA, Finance Department, Planning & Development Department, Chartered Accountants and Auditor General of Pakistan.

I also possess experience in managing and implementing projects, contract management, governance, audits, financial management, and capacity building apart from other activities in the public sector, with special focus on reforms to ensure delivery of citizen-centric public sector services. I am well-versed in procedures related to office budgeting, procurement, recruitment, human resource development, training and administration.

I hold a Master’s degree in Business Admiration and M.Sc. in Economics. I have recently also pursued an MS in Management Sciences from Institute of Business Management studies and have a Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from SHARAD University, Peshawar. I have also attended various training sessions at LUMS on Public Procurement, Contract Management, Monitoring and evaluation, besides training on Value for money [VFM] and MS Office from other renowned institutes.

My motivation behind completing CPPP and PDPP is to gain expertise and professional excellence to advance my skills through constant learning.

Procurement has become a strategic part of Project Management and hence it is the need of the hour to fully equip the Procurement professionals in evolving technologies and techniques in the field.

I am extremely thankful to the World Bank Team for giving me this unique opportunity which has really enhanced my understanding about Public Procurement, Contract Management, and code of conduct for Good Governance to ensure value for money.
